How do I create a Genie Split account?

Simply download the app from Google Play Store and sign up using your email address or Google account. No social media login required for privacy.

Expenses & Splitting

How do I split an expense unequally?

When adding an expense, tap "Split Options" and choose "Percentage" or "Exact Amounts." You can assign different shares to each group member.

What if multiple people paid for one expense?

Use the "Multiple Payers" feature. Tap "Add Payer" to specify how much each person contributed. The app will calculate the net balances automatically.

Privacy & Security

Is my financial data secure?

Yes! We use industry-standard encryption. Expense data is only shared with members of your specific groups. We never store payment information.

Can I delete my account and data?

Absolutely. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days as per our privacy policy.
